Sound Journey (20–30 mins)
Immersive sound with gongs, bowls, and voice for deep relaxation and integration.

What is Qigong?
Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, breath, and intention to cultivate life force energy—or Qi. It helps release stress, calm the mind, improve circulation, and bring balance to body and spirit. Think of it as a moving meditation that nourishes you from the inside out.
Why Combine Qigong & Sound?
Qigong opens the body’s energy channels, clears tension, and gets your Qi flowing smoothly. It also calms the nervous system, creating a relaxed, receptive state.
When the sound journey begins—through gongs, bowls, and voice—the vibrations can travel more deeply, allowing the healing to start right away and reach further within. Together, movement awakens, sound integrates, and stillness anchors—creating a complete experience for body, mind, and spirit.

Do I need experience or coordination to join?
Not at all! Qigong is for everyone, and the movements can be adapted to suit your body and energy level.
What should I bring or wear?
Just wear comfortable clothing you can move in. No mat or props needed. Barefoot or soft shoes work best
How is qigong different from yoga or tai chi?
Qigong is more meditative and energetically focused than yoga or tai chi. It emphasizes qi cultivation over physical performance and includes breathwork, visualization, and energy alignment.
Can I practice qigong if I have an injury or chronic condition?
Yes. Qigong is low-impact and adaptable. Movements can be done standing, seated, or even lying down depending on your needs.
Is this a spiritual or religious practice?
Qigong is rooted in Daoist, Buddhist, and TCM philosophy, but the practice itself is accessible and secular. You are welcome to bring your own meaning or intention to the movements.
Is there anyone who should avoid qigong?
Qigong is a low-impact, adaptable practice and is generally safe for most people. However, those with severe psychiatric conditions, active psychosis, or those who are highly sensitive to energy work may find some techniques overly stimulating. If you have a serious medical condition or are recovering from surgery, it’s best to consult your healthcare provider before beginning any new movement or breathwork practice.
That said, qigong can often be modified to suit your needs, and I’m happy to adjust the practice to support your comfort and healing
